Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tekla Detailer with 2–3 years of experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures. The ideal candidate should be familiar with AISC and OSHA standards and have hands-on experience working on international projects, especially from the US, UK, and Canadian markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed fabrication and erection drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Create and modify 3D models for structural steel components, assemblies, and connections.
- Ensure all detailing work complies with AISC, OSHA, and project-specific standards.
- Interpret design drawings and specifications to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with checkers, modelers, and project leads to resolve design or modeling issues.
- Generate material lists, reports, and CNC data as required for fabrication.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings and models.
- Support project timelines by managing priorities and ensuring accuracy in deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures.
- Working knowledge of AISC and OSHA standards.
- Experience with US, UK, or Canadian projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of other detailing or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex connection details.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic engineering team.
