Rebar Detailer
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Rebar Detailer with 0–2 years of experience in rebar detailing and modeling. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, bar bending schedules (BBS), and detailing standards. Candidates with exposure to tools like Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar software will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate rebar detailing drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) based on structural drawings.
- Develop and review 2D/3D rebar models for concrete structures.
- Ensure all detailing work complies with project specifications and international standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, modelers, and project teams to resolve design and detailing issues.
- Identify discrepancies in drawings and raise RFIs (Request for Information) when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of revisions, updates, and approvals.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation for rebar.
- Ensure timely delivery of detailing outputs as per project deadlines.
- Support senior detailers and team leads in project execution.
- Continuously improve accuracy and efficiency in detailing work.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Basic understanding of RCC structures and reinforcement detailing
- Knowledge of BBS preparation and reading structural drawings
- Familiarity with AutoCAD / Tekla / Rebar detailing tools (preferred)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
